Angola’s premier energy gathering, the Angola Oil & Gas (AOG) conference (3rd to 4th September 2025), has officially opened the nomination process for the 2025 AOG Awards. Set to be presented at the prestigious Gala Dinner and Awards ceremony during the conference, the honours will recognise individuals and organisations whose work is reshaping Angola’s oil and gas industry while advancing the country’s broader sustainability ambitions.

The Local Company of the Year will be awarded to an Angolan-owned business that has shown operational excellence, generated employment, built local capacity, and embraced sustainable business practices.
The Lifetime Achievement Award will recognise individuals or companies whose decades-long contributions and visionary leadership have helped shape Angola’s energy landscape.
